Funicular Monte Igueldo, San Sebastian
Funicular that takes passengers up to mount Igeldo (Funicular Monte Igueldo on the map), the oldest in the Basque Country and the third in Spain. The lift was opened on August 25, 1912 in the presence of Queen Maria Kristina at the same time as the amusement Park on Igeldo mountain.In winter, the funicular's opening hours are from 11 to 18, in spring from 11 to 20, and in summer from 10 to 21. On weekends and public holidays, the lift works for an hour longer. Cars run every 15 minutes, the cost of one-way travel is 1.7 euros, round trip 3.10 euros.
