Bosque de luz Monument, Vitoria-Gasteiz

At the back of the Provincial Palace is a monument to the victims of the Franco dictatorship, called the Forest of Light (Bosque de luz).

The monument consists of 27 steel columns topped with glass ceiling lights of bizarre shapes.

The monument was opened on September 18, 2009. The author of the installation is Anabel Quincoces. The ceiling lights are equipped with LED lamps, but when I returned here in the evening, I found the monument completely dark.
